We are always looking for people to help. Some of things you could do are:

• Assist others to digitise records currently only held on paper.
• Undertake research to find additional people to add to the project.
• Verify information provided by the public.
• Update records based on information received.

Anyone with design skills is invtied to do a site design for the site.

We could also use some help to develop a better search/index mechanism to make individuals easier to find within the site.

We want to get any and all information you have regarding women of the Illawarra. We want basic information like names, dates and places. Even more we want your stories to illustrate what life was like for everyday people doing everyday things. Information about high status and well known people is freely available but we want to know about the other women, those who supported their families and communities.

There are a number of ways that you can get you information to us:

Unfortunately at this time we have no way to accept submissions on paper.

Anything you have scanned or otherwise digitised yourself can be e-mailed to the editor. Simply attach your documents to the email.

If you have information in a genealogy program (such as Legacy or PAF) you can export it (as GEDCOM or as a document) and e-mail it to the editor.

Any other computerised documents you have, in whatever form (such as Microsft Word), can also be emailed to the editor and we'll sort it out from there.

When e-mailing please let us know whether you are happy for us to ask you for clarification or if you prefer not to be contacted further.

By sending us your information, in whatever form, you are granting us permission to publish this information to the Illawarra Women project.
