-A serious accident occurred on Friday, whereby Mrs. M'Kinley, who lives at Mount Ousley, had her left leg broken above the ankle. Mrs. M'Kinley was driving home, about 4 p.m., and while crossing Angel's Creek bridge the horse put his foot into a hole, where the planks are broken, and fell, being cut terribly about the knees and Mrs. M'Kinley suffering as above stated. Mr. Cram, who happened to be riding past at the time, rendered every possible assistance and lost no time in riding in for Dr. Wade, who was quickly on the spot, and soon set the broken limb. Mrs. Good, of Mount Ousley, rendered important aid to the poor sufferer and very kindly as sisted Dr. Wade. It is a matter of congratulation that Mrs. M'Kinley was not killed. //Illawarra Mercury (Wollongong, NSW : 1856 - 1950)// **Tuesday 13 November 1894** p 2+A serious accident occurred on Friday, whereby Mrs. M'Kinley, who lives at Mount Ousley, had her left leg broken above the ankle.
