 +In 1883 she was residing at Clifton where her daughter Isabella and son John were living.  She was using the surname Goundry at this time, before she married her second husband.

 +Isabella and Joseph remained at Clifton until about 1891 when they returned to the Newcastle district. They resided at New Lambton until Joseph's sudden death in 1894. It is not known why they returned to Newcastle, however, as they had now been married for several years any scandal would have since subsided. Isabella had children living in the Newcastle district and it can only be assumed they wished to be reunited with their families. Interestingly, Joseph's death certificate indicates that he and Isabella were married in 1870, some 16 years earlier than their legal marriage took place.

Her funeral took place yesterday, and was attended by a large number of people and old residents of the township. The funeral service was performed by Rev. G. B. Stevenson of St. Stephen's Church. Mrs Goundry leaves two sons and two daughters.

Ellen Guthrie, aged 70 years. The late Mrs. Guthrie was born in Millown, Malbay, County Clare, Ireland, in the year 1863, and came to Australia in 1888. With her husband and eldest son, Thomas, she lived in Queensland for some yeurs, and later came to the South Coast of N. S. Wales, and resided at Omega, where she lived for 35 years, and was highly respected. She reared seven children, and in late years she came to live at Wollongong with her son Thomas. For some months before her death she failed considerably and died on September 28. She was a devoted Catholic, and never missed receiving Holy Communion on the first Sunday of the month. She leaves seven children to mourn the loss of a loving and dear mother: Thomas (Wollongong), Jack (Enmore), Charles (Wallongong), Agnes (Wollongong), Mrs. W. Martin (Bondi), William (Wollongong). Her husband predeceased her 13 years. She was also a niece of J. J.
