| - | A WELL-KNOWN RESIDENT of Aberdare in the person of Mrs. H Voltz passed away in Cessnock Hospital last Friday, at the age of 75 years. Mrs. Volz, with her husband, who predeceased her some years ago, came to this district about 1904, and had been here ever since. Mr. Volz had the contract for the manufacture of bricks used in the construction of Rothbury colliery, and had also formerly carried on his avocation on the South Coast. The funeral took place at Aberdare cemetery on Sunday afternoon and was largely attended. Canon Campbell officiated at the church and grave.
